Alan was interviewed by iHeart Radio and WDAE 95.3 regarding a new cyber law in Florida and centered around a man arrested and accused generating child porn from childrens’ photos on social media.
This is the first arrest of its kind and the man has been charged amongst other charges, with creating child porn, and possessing child porn
Alan Crowetz, a cyber expert, questions whether the fact that there is no person, is there a victim? He says they could get around the law by also using AI to generate the children as well.
However, Alan goes on to say that AI does grab from a huge pool of images of real people already on the internet.
According to Alan, technology is a long way ahead of the law, and catching up will not be easy. He also adds that although AI is able to filter out obviously illegal activities, like bomb making, the wily criminal will find a way to trick it.
