So. Here’s the deal. We’re called InfoStream, based in West Palm Beach. And we’re looking for another Network Administrator.

But it’s got to be someone special.

Because we have a really happy team of motivated technology superstars. They’re really focused on delivering the best customer experience.

And we want more of the same.

So, you need to have the right balance of technical ability, a big smiley face and lots of that “can do” attitude that people love.

Now this isn’t an entry level job…

We are looking for those rare, few, superheroes. Have you done more than a few production server migrations? Are you the one that other IT experts come to when they are stuck on a problem? Have you recovered tricky, crashed, servers on your own?

Yes, this means lots of new toys to play with.

Think it’s worth us talking? Send us your resume, tell us a little about yourself and…

Can you answer these 5 quiz questions?

  1. What does DNS stand for?
  2. A customer’s server reboots every night at 8.15pm. Talk us through what could possibly be causing it
  3. Explain phishing as if you were talking to a 7-year-old
  4. If we gave you $10,000 tax-free cash (which we’re not going to do), what would you spend it on and why?
  5. What’s your best cybersecurity advice?

Please put “Network Engineer” in the subject line so you leap to the top of the list.

All the other job adverts for first line IT support technicians are the same. Just look at them: “You must be enthusiastic, a self-starter, excellent communication skills... blah... blah... blah”.

Instead of telling you more things you’ll need to remember in a job interview how about we tell you the five ways we’ll invest in you, when you come to join us.

  1. You’ll be paid very well: We know that’s your primary concern with a new job. We pay at the top of the scale for this kind of job. Plus, we give annual raises AND annual bonuses. It’s the only way to get the best people.
  2. You’ll have a career not just a job: You might already be a top level engineer, but really we want to make sure you stay ahead of everyone else as the superstar you are. So you’ll get lots of opportunities, continuing education and freedom.
  3. You’ll maintain a great work/life balance: We love our work, but we love our families more. So we get our work done to the highest standard, then go home. The better the quality of our work, the fewer emergencies stop us going home.
  4. You’ll be welcomed into a team of people just like you: It’s important to belong, at work. Makes the work more fun, don’t you think?
  5. You’ll do work that matters: Thousands of people rely on our team working well, so they can work well every day. We’re so important to so many people... even if they don’t realize it. That makes us happy. Does it you?
